Learn how to make Street Style 'मटण सीख कबाब - Mutton Seekh Kabab' with our chef Smita Deo. <br /><br />Chicken Seekh Kabab is made from minced chicken, spices and can be found at most of the dhabas and on the streets. It is grilled over a charcoal fire, but it can also be made at home using a grill pan. It goes best with Green Chutney and Bread.<br /><br />Ingredients: <br />(Serves 2)<br />- 1 Kg Mutton(minced) <br />- 1 tsp Garlic Paste<br />- 1 tsp Ginger Paste<br />- 1/4 cup Mint Leaves<br />- 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves<br />- 3 Green Chillies(chopped)<br />- 1 Onion(chopped)<br />- 1 1/2 tbsp Coriander Seeds Powder<br />- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder<br />- 1 tsp Garam Masala<br />- 2 tbsp Raw Papaya paste <br />- Salt<br />- 1/2 tsp turmeric Powder<br />- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder<br />- 1 Egg<br />- 1 tbsp ghee<br /> <br />Method:<br />1. Take minced mutton in a bowl and add garlic paste, ginger paste, mint leaves, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped onion, coriander seeds powder, cumin seeds powder,garam masala, raw papaya paste, salt<br />2. Mix all of it together, and then, add turmeric powder and red chilli powder <br />3. Now, grind this mixture into a thin paste and take it out in a plate <br />4. After this, crack one egg on the paste; mix it, cover it and refrigerate it for around 1 - 1 1/2 hour<br />5. Now, take some mutton paste and give it a cylindrical shape<br />6. Put the wooden skewer right through the bottom of the paste, to its top and place it over a grill pan <br />7. Add ghee over the grill pan; grill it on both the sides for 5 minutes each and keep the flame on medium<br />8. Grill these seekh kababs for around 20 minutes and then take it out on a serving platter
